• How does Dromo's pricing work?

  Dromo's pricing is flexible, accessible, and honest. We list starting prices on our Pricing page, and we do not have hidden fees or surprise upcharges (such as for monthly billing or white labeling). You can get started without talking to sales or making any upfront commitment.

  We encourage new customers to experiment on the Free plan, then graduate to a usage-based plan that bills monthly (you can cancel anytime). Once you're confident in Dromo, we recommend an unlimited plan at a flat annual rate, so you don't have to manage variable costs as you scale or your usage fluctuates.

• Do you have a free plan?

  All new customers are automatically enrolled in Dromo's Free plan after signing up for an account. Our Free plan allows for unlimited test imports in development mode. Production imports are only possible with a paid plan (or a free trial of a paid plan), all of which are white label and include support.

• What is Dromo Express?

  Dromo Express is a slimmed down version of Dromo Pro at an even more accessible price point. Dromo Express customers can build, deploy, and manage their importers without any technical knowledge via the no-code Schema Studio.

  Dromo Express makes exclusive use of our simplified Schema Studio interface for configuring and customizing the import experience. It offers a subset of the features available in Dromo Pro. See this FAQ for a list of the technical differences between the products.

• What are the terms of your free trial?

  The first two weeks of subscription to Dromo Express or Pro (each, a "monthly plan"), starting from the date of enrollment, are free. Valid payment information must be provided at the time of enrollment. You will be notified via e-mail of the approaching expiration of your trial period prior to the expiration date.

  To continue using the selected monthly plan after your 14 day trial, you'll be charged on a monthly basis at the then-current fee for the service(s) you've selected until you cancel. Sales tax may be applied where applicable.

  To be eligible for this offer you must be a new Dromo customer and sign up for the monthly plan. Offer available for a limited time only. You can cancel your trial at any time via the Manage plan button in the Billing area of the dashboard. Canceling your trial will become effective immediately.

  Only one trial per plan is allowed per organization. Duplicate trials may be canceled without notice.

• What is a "production import"?

  The Dromo importer can be configured to run either in development or production mode. When run in development mode, the importer displays a banner and limits the output to 100 rows. Development mode is intended for testing and not for live or customer-facing imports. When run in production mode, the importer does not display a banner or limit the final output. Development imports do not count against the monthly allowance of paid plans.

• Do you have an unlimited plan?

  Yes, you may buy an unlimited plan for either Dromo Express or Dromo Pro. A Dromo team member collects basic information about your company in order to give you a customized quote, with guaranteed pricing for at least three years. To get a quote, start here.

• Do you offer monthly billing?

  Yes. Dromo's monthly plan is billed at the amount listed on the pricing page. There are no hidden charges for monthly billing.

• What enterprise features do you offer?

  Dromo offers enterprise-class features à la carte, including the Bring Your Own Storage option, the Headless API, an uptime SLA, guaranteed same-day support, and self-hosted deployments. For pricing information, reach out to us for a quote.

• What is "Bring Your Own Storage"?

  When you enable the "Bring Your Own Storage" solution, your data is persisted directly from the user's browser to your storage layer (such as AWS S3 or GCP Cloud Storage, in a bucket owned by you). When used with an embedded importer, Dromo does not have any access to user data at any point in the import process, but the import results are available to you in your cloud.

  The purpose of Bring Your Own Storage is to provide similar security benefits as a fully self-hosted solution at a fraction of the cost and with minimal additional overhead to manage.

• What is the Headless API?

  The Headless API allows you to initiate the import flow programmatically. For example, you may start a Dromo import automatically whenever a file is uploaded to an SFTP server, emailed to you, stored in Google Drive, shared in Slack, or in response to any of hundreds of other events.

  If there are any errors during the flow (for example, a column cannot be matched automatically or a data validation fails) you are provided a URL where you can direct your user to fix the issues. If there are no errors, the import succeeds automatically and the user does not need to be involved.

• How do I cancel a subscription or trial?

  It's easy to cancel your subscription. To cancel a paid plan, log in to the Dromo dashboard and click the Billing tab in the sidebar. Then select "Manage plan." You will see your current plan and prior invoices. You may cancel your plan from here.

  We do not offer refunds. If you cancel your plan before the next renewal cycle, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your subscription period. When your subscription expires, you will lose access to paid features.

• Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?

  Yes, of course! Dromo was built to evolve alongside your business. Whether you decide you need new features, or aren't using the ones you have, upgrading will kick in immediately, and downgrading will take effect at the end of your current period.

• Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

  Nope. You can get started with Dromo on a month-to-month plan and cancel anytime.

• Do you have a startup program?

  Yes. We love to partner with early stage companies and help them deliver delightful self-service data onboarding to their users right away, so they can focus on innovation and growth. We also recognize that cash is king during this pivotal time, so we can make special pricing considerations for qualified startups. Contact us to tell us more about your situation.

• Do you offer a discount for nonprofits?

  Our nonprofit program plan is available to qualifying nonprofits with 501(c)(3) designation, K-12 schools, higher education institutions, and public libraries with valid nonprofit status. Our program is also available to organizations with equivalent international designations. Contact us for your discounted quote.

• How do I change my payment information?

  To change your payment information for a paid plan, log in to the Dromo dashboard and click the Billing tab in the sidebar. Then select "Manage plan." You will see your current plan and prior invoices. You may change your payment information from here.

• What forms of payment do you accept?

  For plans bought through our dashboard, we accept credit or debit card, ACH debit transfer, Cash app, among others. For custom plans, we accept ACH and wire transfers.
